MS Paint will get a dark option, a redesigned UI, and more in Windows 11.

Windows 11 is currently available in public beta, with a release date set for the holiday season. It will also redesign some of the Windows classics, such as Microsoft Paint, in addition to some major design changes, integration with Android apps, and the addition of widgets.

According to a tweet from Panos Panay, Microsoft's chief product officer, Paint, the painting and drawing tool included in all versions of Windows, will be redesigned. The short video doesn't show much, but it does show a new dark mode, some other UI tweaks, and a few design differences in Windows 11. According to Panay, the app will be accessible to Windows Insiders soon.

As long as the PC satisfies the minimal specifications, Windows 11 will be a free update for Windows 10 users. Those who do not yet have Windows 10 can determine if they are eligible for a free upgrade.
