Sherlyn Chopra responds to the trolls in the Raj Kundra case: Illegal pornography is not tolerated by any authority.

Sherlyn Chopra allegedly addressed the abuse she had to endure after speaking out against pornography after being probed by the Mumbai Crime Branch. The actor apparently admitted to being cool with shooting controversial footage, but Sherlyn believes that when it comes to breaching the law, one must question oneself.

Sherlyn Chopra has made waves for her declaration in the Raj Kundra pornographic case, which is still ongoing. The Mumbai police have arrested an affluent businessman in connection with the production of adult videos and their distribution through digital platforms. Sherlyn Chopra had revealed on Instagram a few weeks ago that she was the first individual to provide a statement to the Maharashtra Cyber Cell investigative team on Raj Kundra's case. Sherlyn delivered a fitting response to individuals who have been mocking her in her encounter with ETimes after she was summoned by officials for investigation.

“Every time I talk about pornography, I am trolled,” she stated. I filmed for Playboy in 2012, and while I had no qualms with shooting for controversial content before, we must consider our actions when we break the law at the moment. Illegal pornography will not be tolerated by any authority. So I just want to remind the trolls who say, "What's wrong with pornography, we all watch it," that the government has outlawed all pornographic websites. This is the law, and we must not violate it, especially on such a large scale.”

Sherlyn also mentioned young people who had been misled in the ongoing Raj Kundra case during the same conversation. “I feel all those females who have been mislead, they may not be aware of the rules relating to pornography in India and the following punishment,” Sherlyn reportedly said. Young people who come here looking for work believe that if Raj Kundra says "it's acceptable," it must be true. And this is where the deception begins. I simply want the victims to come out and explain how they were approached and drawn into this world.”

While Raj Kundra remains in court custody, his wife Shilpa Shetty Kundra has issued an official statement on Instagram asking her followers to refrain from leaping to conclusions. She also asked that everyone respect the law and let everything run its course.
